Dear Mr. and Mrs. Chen,

It is my pleasure to write this letter to you. Although I have never met you, I have learned so much about you through Fanny. You have raised such a wonderful daughter. She is smart, polite, caring, kind, independent, and beautiful. She has a big heart that she is always willing to give. She loves to help people, and she is really good at taking care of others. She always talks about how much she loves her parents, and she keeps saying that you are the most important people in her world. She respects you very much. You have such a sweet daughter. I constantly think of how lucky I am to have met such a wonderful lady.

Please allow me to briefly introduce myself. My name is Joe Covay. I am currently working at the Allen County Courthouse as the Assistant Director of Management Information Systems. My job is to maintain the computer network and system upgrades. Not only do I work for the government, but I also run my own business. My computer company does small business networking, systems integration, and troubleshooting. In addition, I have rental properties including four houses that I rent, plus the home that I live in. I live by myself, and I have a very good relationship with my family. I work hard to achieve my goals. I heard from Fanny that you are a hard worker and you operate a successful business in Taiwan and China. She always says that you are successful and respectable. I wish one day that I will have the chance to meet you.

Fanny and I met through her host parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer. Mrs. Mortimer is one of my mother’s close friends. They both work at the same school, and they are both teachers. Fanny gets along with all of my family so well. My mother loves Fanny very much, and she treats Fanny as her own daughter. My sister, Beth, also loves Fanny and sees her as a real sister. In addition, Fanny has visited my extended family in Cleveland and Chicago several times, and you would be amazed how well she fits in this family. Everyone loves her and enjoy her visits. Everyone misses her and wishes her the best. I am so lucky to have her in my life.

She is so important to me that I really love her. She provides me with thoughtful insights whenever we discuss a variety of topics. She always knows how to support me and gives me the strength when I am facing stressful situations. She has influenced my life so much that I appreciate everything she has done for me. She is the only one that I would like to spend the rest of my life with. I want to take good care of her just like she always does for me. I want to give her the best and to make her happy. My life is more complete after I fell in love with her. We are so happy together, and we love each other very much.

I understand how hard it would be to let go of such a great daughter. I believe that you must love her more than anything. But, please know that you are also loved so much by her that she decided to go back to Taiwan and spend time with you. She said that she cannot give you anything, but she just wants to show you how much she loves and respects you. I believe that you must be so proud of her, and you must have given her the best. I would like to ask you to let me take care of her. I really love her, and I know she is so happy with me. We respect each other, we help each other, we listen to each other, and we understand each other. We have strong communication, and we share our lives together. Life is not perfect, but with her, my life is wonderful.

She worries about you so much that she is having a difficult time making a decision. She said that during the past 27 years, you are always there whenever she needs you. You always think for her and try to protect her. Actually, I have the same feelings. I love her, and I would do everything to protect her and take care of her. I want her to be happy, and I want to give her the best. I know that no one could replace the importance of her parents in her life, but I also know that we love each other very much. I will provide for her the best I can. She is such a great young lady, and she is everything I ever wanted.

We both love Fanny very much and we all want to protect her from being hurt. Please understand that I am not taking her away from you. I just want to take care of her for you and share her with you. She is such a wonderful lady, and I am so lucky to have met her. I also hope that one day I can meet with you and visit your family.
